About visit statistics: this Site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, does not build an individual profile of you, and does not track you across websites. It reports aggregated traffic figures only.

4. Cookies and similar technologies
This Site does not use any non-essential cookies, and therefore shows no cookie consent banner.
The only cookie this Site sets remembers which display style you have chosen — light or dark theme, and layout. It is stored locally in your browser, contains no personal information, and is never sent to any third party.
If you disable cookies in your browser, reading the Site is unaffected.
5. Who I share it with
I share data only with the service providers needed to run this Site. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may not use your data for its own purposes:

Except where the law requires it, I do not provide your personal information to any other third party. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.
6. Transfers outside your country
Some of my service providers are located outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, I rely on:
- an adequacy decision of the European Commission (where the recipient is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); or
- the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to:

- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict how I process your data;
- object to processing based on my legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect processing already carried out;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.

9. People mentioned in articles
Articles on this Site are written from material that founders have published publicly, and may include project names, founder names and public business figures. I use this information only to the extent needed to discuss what those people have shared publicly.
If you are someone mentioned in an article and you object to something, contact me. I will verify it and either remove the identifying details or take the passage down.
10. Giving information is voluntary
You are under no obligation to give me any personal information. However, without your email address, I cannot send you subscription content or companion materials.
11. Children
This Site is not intended for children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given me information, contact me and I will delete it promptly.
12. Embedded third-party content
Where an article on this Site embeds content from a third-party platform such as YouTube, that platform may collect your IP address, device information and browsing behaviour, and may set its own cookies. Those activities are governed by that platform's privacy policy, not this one.
13. Paid materials
When you buy a paid report from this Site, payment is handled by a third-party payment provider. The information you submit at checkout is collected and processed directly by that provider; I do not receive or store your payment card details. Delivery and refund conditions are set out in the Terms of Service and the Refund Policy.
14. Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the latest version. Where a change materially affects how I handle your data, I will give notice by email or on the Site in advance.
